About the Opportunity
Take your career further with McLane! We are offering a fully paid CDL-A Driver Training Program designed to launch your journey as a professional driver. This role is for a Driver Trainee who will learn the essential functions of the Driver job, including the accurate and timely distribution of products to various customer locations. As part of the developmental process, you will gain exposure to warehouse and other operational functions while training side-by-side with an experienced Driver Trainer.
Program Details
McLane is offering a fully paid CDL-A School right here in Northfield, MN. This is your opportunity to start a rewarding career with excellent pay and benefits. The training schedule runs Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and takes place on-site in Northfield for the final four weeks of the program.
While in school and training, you will earn $23.50 per hour. Upon completion and as a driver, you can expect average first-year earnings between $80,000 and $90,000, with a minimum guarantee of $65,000 per year. Benefits are available from Day 1, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA options, and company-paid life insurance. Additional perks include a 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan after 90 days, paid holidays, vacation time, sick leave accrual, and an educational assistance program.
