
This full-time Diesel Technician role supports the Transportation & Logistics automotive team at Ryder System. The position focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks, trailers, and related equipment to ensure safe fleet operations. Key responsibilities include performing scheduled preventive maintenance, troubleshooting complex engine, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and conducting DOT safety inspections. Technicians utilize electronic diagnostic tools and document all work accurately while collaborating with drivers and operations teams. The role offers a team-oriented environment with opportunities for continuous improvement and professional growth through ASE certification support. The position is based on-site within a shop setting and may require occasional road call assistance.
