About the Role
As a Skilled Diesel Technician, you will be the backbone of our fleet maintenance operations. In this role, you will ensure the safety and reliability of our transportation assets by performing comprehensive inspections, diagnosing complex diesel engine, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and executing precise repairs. Your work goes beyond simple maintenance; you will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards, while utilizing advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Day in the Life
Your day will involve a dynamic mix of hands-on mechanical work and strategic collaboration. You will conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and safety checks on diesel trucks and trailers, ensuring they are road-ready. A significant part of your role involves communicating repair status and technical details with drivers, supervisors, and logistics teams to minimize downtime. You will also maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, documenting all work performed in our maintenance and fleet management systems to support continuous improvement and standard repair processes.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- verifiedASE Medium/Heavy Truck certifications (preferred)
- verifiedCDL Class A or B (preferred)
- verifiedEPA Section 609 A/C certification (preferred)
- verifiedOSHA and safety training
- verifiedVocational/technical diesel training (preferred)
