Fortrex Solutions is a leader in food safety solutions for both contract sanitation and chemistry in the food processing industry. With over 50 years of experience, we have built long-lasting partnerships and employ over 10,000 dedicated team members across North America. Our corporate headquarters are in Atlanta, GA, with operations spanning more than 250 plants.
We protect the food supply by eliminating risks so families everywhere can eat without fear. We are in service of safety at every step, ensuring the health of everyone is central to all we do. We speak honestly, uphold ethical standards, and believe in the power of collaboration to unlock potential and achieve stronger results together. We are committed to innovating more effective, sustainable, and cost-efficient food safety solutions to develop a safer world for all.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to manage and improve our sanitation operations, ensuring a safe and pristine facility. In this role, you will provide daily supervision of hourly Food Safety Sanitors and Lead Persons in designated departments and areas of our customer's plants. Your primary duty involves the direction of work to ensure the team operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory, customer, and company policies.
While you may utilize independent judgment to assist laborers during peak times, such as start-up and pre-op, this position is focused on leadership rather than manual labor. You will act as the first line of support for team complaints and claims, working closely with Site Managers and Assistant Site Managers to achieve departmental goals. If you have strong leadership skills and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact.
This position involves working in a wet, hot, and/or cold environment while wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Shift schedules may vary depending on the specific location.
All applications will be reviewed, and qualified candidates will be contacted to continue into the interview process. If you feel like you are a good fit for this position and want to be part of a large organization that treats you like family, apply now.
Fortrex Solutions is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, color, creed, sex, gender, gender identity, national origin, citizenship status, uniform service member status, veteran status, age, genetic information, disability, or any other protected status, in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. We are committed to complying with laws protecting qualified individuals with disabilities and will provide reasonable accommodations as required by law.
