About the Role
The Region Operations Manager serves as a critical link between regional strategy and daily execution, reporting directly to the Regional Director. This role is designed to plan and oversee the daily operations of the region, ensuring that all goals and objectives are met with precision and efficiency.
In this position, you will manage the full lifecycle of the team, from assisting with the hiring and training of new employees to overseeing the onboarding of Foreign Guest Workers. You will organize staff schedules, provide coverage for open management positions, and handle necessary disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy. The role requires a hands-on approach to production and operations, including measuring productivity through data analysis, coordinating with support departments like HR and finance, and overseeing shipping and receiving functions.
You will also play a key logistical role by assisting the Regional Director with the transportation of team members from airports, housing, and resorts. The position demands adaptability, as you may be asked to cover Manager or Dispatcher needs during staffing shortages, conduct weekly inspections and inventory counts, and assist in budget preparation for the operations unit. Additionally, you will collaborate with marketing and sales to determine pricing and promotion strategies, while helping to maintain and update the organization's operations manual and policies.
