Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide individual, group, milieu, and family treatment services
- check_circleOffer therapeutic support and clinical guidance to milieu staff
- check_circleLead or participate in parent trainings and multifamily groups
- check_circleServe as emergency backup van driver or monitor for client transport
- check_circleManage case services with DCFS, school officials, and law enforcement
- check_circleProvide 24-hour availability and crisis intervention for assigned clients
- check_circleMaintain confidential client information and complete required paperwork
- check_circleCollaborate with parents, psychiatrists, teachers, and other professionals
Requirements
- verifiedBilingual Spanish speaking
- verifiedMaster's degree in psychology, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Social Work
- verifiedLicensed, licensed eligible, or registered with the BBS as an intern
- verifiedTwo years clinical experience with children and families
- verifiedOne year experience working with multiple-issue families
- verifiedOne year experience in school, day rehabilitation, day treatment, psychiatric hospital, or residential treatment setting preferred
Nice to Have
Two years of clinical experience with children and families, preferably ages 2-5 for DTI and 5-12 for DR. One year of experience working within school, day rehabilitation, day treatment, psychiatric hospital, or residential treatment settings.
