About the Role
As a BBS Therapist, Clinician, or Program Manager, you will join a team dedicated to improving the self-sufficiency of individuals and families. This role is designed for licensed professionals who want to make a visible, direct impact within the Los Angeles community.
In this position, you will engage members and coordinate mental and recovery services to ensure housing stability and community integration. The role involves a blend of office and field work, requiring you to develop effective, trusting relationships with clients experiencing co-occurring disorders and the forensic population. You will focus on facilitating independence and maintaining improved physical and mental health while providing linkage to stable housing and other supportive services.
You will work cooperatively with the FSP team, participating in weekly staff meetings, group clinical supervision, and trainings. This is an opportunity to hold a highly visible role within the organization, offering a clear path for career advancement and upward mobility.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleCoordinate and implement mental health and recovery support services for individual members

- check_circleIdentify appropriate permanent housing options including Section 8, VASH, and supportive housing
- check_circleDevelop effective, trusting relationships with clients experiencing tri-morbid and forensic disorders
- check_circleConduct screening interviews, complete housing documentation, and coordinate client move-ins
- check_circleMaintain complete, accurate, and current member files with all funder-required documents
- check_circlePerform comprehensive case management assessments and develop intervention plans
- check_circleCollaborate with members to develop, review, and update individual service plans
Requirements
- verifiedActive BBS Licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or PsyD)
- verifiedRegistered and in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences
- verifiedComfortable with office and field work
- verifiedLPS designated or able to become LPS designated to initiate 5150 holds
- verified2 Years Experience working with clients with mental illness, chronic health issues, and/or substance abuse
- verifiedComfortable working via the harm reduction model
- verifiedValid Drivers License
Nice to Have
Bilingual in Spanish and English, LPS designated status, previous client field work experience with homeless or at-risk populations.
