About the Role
We are hiring for After School positions in the San Diego area (La Mesa, National City, San Diego, Chula Vista, and surrounding areas). This part-time role is designed for individuals passionate about working with children, offering a unique opportunity to learn ABA techniques while delivering services in client homes and community settings.
You will work flexible hours from 3 PM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday. The position involves traveling to various locations, requiring a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and proof of insurance. You will be trained to provide behavioral interventions, with paid training and mileage reimbursement included. The role offers ongoing supervision, career advancement opportunities, and education reimbursement programs to help you thrive in the field of behavioral health.
Hiring Process & Requirements
To apply, candidates must meet one of the following education criteria: a High School Diploma with at least one completed college course, a High School Diploma while currently enrolled in college, or an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree. Previous experience working with children is preferred, and bilingual skills are a plus.
Selected candidates must provide proof of immunization records and TB testing, and will undergo a background check. The role requires physical agility, including the ability to walk, run, kneel, and carry up to 50 pounds, as well as the capacity to engage in play on the floor or in child-sized settings.
