About the Role
We are urgently seeking compassionate Flex Home Care Aides to join our team in supporting seniors and individuals with disabilities who wish to live independently. This role is vital to our mission, providing essential assistance with daily tasks that allow our clients to maintain their dignity and autonomy at home.
As a Home Care Aide - Core, you will be the backbone of our care delivery. You will be on call five days a week, including at least one weekend day, working a 40-hour schedule with a guaranteed 20 hours. While your specific schedule is determined by your direct supervisor, you will be expected to accept assignments on your scheduled days. Your day-to-day involves calling into the office each morning to receive assignments, then traveling to clients' homes to provide personalized care. You will follow specific care plans, assist with personal hygiene, manage household tasks like meal preparation and cleaning, and transport clients to medical appointments and essential errands. A key part of your responsibility is observing clients' conditions and reporting any changes to ensure their safety and well-being.
