As a Children's Ambassador, you will be the first smile families see. Every visitor's journey begins with you, and your role sets the tone for a safe, supportive, and uplifting experience. This is more than a job—it is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on children, families, and our community.
You will welcome visitors with warmth and empathy, recognizing that families may be experiencing stress, worry, or joy. Your presence ensures a positive and comforting first impression. You will guide guests through the facility, ensuring they navigate with confidence, and support families by determining destinations and transportation needs. Additionally, you will provide secure and engaging internal patient transport and ensure accessibility by managing wheelchairs, strollers, and carts.
This role operates on a rotating schedule designed to cover weekends and holidays. The schedule alternates between two weeks:
The position requires on-call shifts approximately once every two weeks for illness replacement, covering first and second shifts on weekends and third shift seven days a week. Every other weekend and participation in a holiday rotation are also required.
