About the Role

As a Diesel Technician, you will play a vital role in keeping your community moving. You will help maintain and repair school buses to ensure they are safe and reliable for our passengers. This position is designed for those who take pride in their work and want to make a real difference in the lives of students and families.

You will be responsible for diagnosing and performing all phases of vehicle maintenance, including brake repairs and inspections, engine tune-ups, suspension and drive train work, and transmission clutch repairs. Your day will involve conducting preventive maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections, as well as completing work orders accurately. Additionally, you may assist with mobile emergency repair services when needed.

We offer an hourly rate of $22.00 (dependent on experience), with bonus rate increases available for each ASE School Bus Series test passed and maintained. Hiring Process

We look for candidates with strong vehicle diagnostic and problem-solving skills, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to participate in the ASE certification program. A mechanic's tool set is required to complete assigned duties.
