Most Precious Blood Catholic School in Corpus Christi, Texas, is seeking an elementary teacher to teach 3rd grade for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role is deeply rooted in the Diocese of Corpus Christi's mission, where the Diocesan Bishop serves as the visible principle and foundation of unity. As a collaborator in this apostolic mission, the teacher acts as a witness to Gospel values, modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church in both professional and personal life.
The position requires adherence to the NCEA Code of Ethics, guiding the teacher's attitude and practice in relation to students, parents, the community, and the profession. The teacher will form the whole child—spiritually, intellectually, socially, morally, and physically—within a Christ-centered environment. This involves providing engaging instruction, maintaining a functional and positive classroom, and supporting students to achieve their maximum potential in both spiritual and academic growth.
As an integral part of the ministry for the Church, this role extends the Bishop's mission by participating in religious ceremonies, training sessions, and reflection activities. The teacher is expected to sponsor one after-school club and foster a strong sense of community by communicating effectively with parents and collaborating with colleagues.
