MS Math Teacher

About the Role

This position is dedicated to conveying the Church's message and assisting in carrying out the Church's mission within the Catholic school environment. The role requires upholding the standards of the Catholic Church in both day-to-day work and personal life. As a member of the faith community, you will demonstrate that teaching is a ministry. You will implement the school's philosophy and goals, giving witness to the religious dimension through your attitude and example. This includes actively participating in liturgical prayer, faith sharing, and retreats with faculty, students, and parents, while integrating Catholic attitudes and values into subjects and school life. Decisions made in this role should reflect a sense of mercy, justice, and compassion, modeling an attitude of service to all.

Work Environment and Travel

This job operates primarily in a classroom environment, though duties may occasionally be performed outside in inclement weather. Travel is required as needed to attend workshops and in-service trainings sponsored by the Archdiocese and others approved by the principal. The role involves sitting or standing for long periods, walking, climbing stairs, and occasional lifting up to 30 pounds.
