The Adult Education program is dedicated to providing comprehensive, high-quality educational services designed to advance and accelerate the academic achievement of adult immigrant learners. These learners often face significant barriers in their search for viable career pathways and self-sufficiency. The program offers three distinct levels of ESOL instruction tailored for beginners, ensuring a structured path toward language mastery and personal growth.
The Program Coordinator/ESOL Instructor serves as a vital link between program operations and student success. In this dual-capacity role, you will oversee and coordinate program operations, student assessments, intake processes, and advising services. Beyond administrative oversight, you will provide direct English instruction, academic advising, and personalized support to students.
You will be responsible for developing up-to-date curriculum materials that align with student needs and goals, integrating technology into the classroom, and creating lesson plans that focus on communication skills. The role requires a compassionate approach to working with students from diverse backgrounds, skill levels, and cultures. You will also facilitate student access to other educational and community programs, helping to resolve personal issues and guide learners toward further opportunities.
Candidates are invited to apply via our website at www.ccab.org. The hiring process involves reviewing applications to identify individuals who demonstrate strong leadership, cultural competence, and a passion for adult education. Selected candidates will be contacted for further steps in the selection process.
