This position exists to support and implement the Mission of Magnificat High School. The teacher is responsible for the daily holistic growth of the students in their classes, participating in the total life of the school community to provide an optimal learning environment. You will collaborate with faculty and staff to build a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative community that respects the racial, ethnic, religious, neuro, and socio-economic diversity of all students.
As a member of the World Languages Department, you will teach all levels of high school French, employing a restorative approach in relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Your work will integrate the school's academic and Catholic Identity goals, Catholic Social Teaching, and themes of Racial Literacy and Cultural Competency. You are expected to model lifelong learning, actively contribute to curriculum development, and manage teaching through modern platforms like Google Classroom.
