The Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychology (Non-Tenure) serves as a vital leader within the School of Education and Behavioral Sciences on our Oahu campus. This 9-month, full-time position is designed to coordinate the School Psychology practicum and internship clinical placement process while assisting the Director of School Psychology in overseeing the program.
In this role, you will actively participate in curriculum development, program assessment, and accreditation efforts. Beyond the classroom, where you will teach 21 load credit hours per year, you will foster an environment that promotes academic and professional growth. Your day-to-day impact includes supporting adjunct instruction, providing high-quality student advising, and contributing to student recruitment and retention strategies. You will also serve on various program, division, and university committees, ensuring alignment with university initiatives and the strategic plan.
