As a Shift Lead at Walgreens, you serve as the vital link between management and the team during overnight hours. In the absence of store leadership, you are entrusted with the responsibility of opening and closing the store, ensuring all systems are started, and preparing the floor and stockroom for the business day. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering a distinctive, delightful customer experience even during off-peak hours.
You will model and share customer service best practices, engaging with customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance, and resolving issues to ensure satisfaction. Your day involves managing cash handling, processing returns and refunds, and maintaining accurate inventory counts. You will also assist in coaching team members on warehouse and vendor ordering processes, ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products, and maintaining a clean, orderly store environment.
To apply, please submit your resume through the official Walgreens careers portal. The actual compensation offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills, abilities, education, experience, and other relevant factors. This role will remain open until filled. For a complete list of benefits, please visit jobs.walgreens.com/benefits.
