As a Key Holder, you serve as a vital extension of store management, stepping in to open and close the store, manage cash operations, and ensure the floor and stockroom are prepared for the business day. This position is designed for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is committed to delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. You will model Walgreens service traits, from proactive assistance to resolving issues, while sharing these best practices with the entire team.
Your day involves a dynamic blend of operational leadership and customer engagement. You will act as a liaison between management and the team, communicating tasks and reporting on store status when leadership is absent. From coaching team members on vendor ordering processes to maintaining accurate inventory counts and pricing, you ensure the store runs smoothly. You will also play a key role in upholding safety and compliance standards, including bag checks, regulatory adherence for regulated products, and maintaining a clean, orderly environment.
