Shift Lead

About the Role

As a Key Holder, you serve as a vital extension of store management, stepping in to open and close the store, manage cash handling systems, and ensure the sales floor and stockroom are fully prepared for the business day. This role is designed for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is committed to delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. You will not only operate the store independently but also model and share customer service best practices, fostering a culture of proactive assistance and courtesy among all team members.

Your day involves a dynamic blend of operational leadership and hands-on service. From coaching team members through the warehouse and vendor ordering process to maintaining accurate inventory counts and executing precise pricing strategies, you ensure the store runs smoothly. You act as a liaison between management and the team, communicating tasks and reporting issues when leadership is absent. Whether assisting with pharmacy window duties, ensuring regulatory compliance for regulated products, or maintaining the store's physical appearance, your attention to detail keeps the business running efficiently.

Hiring Process

We are looking for candidates with at least one year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience. Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required (except in Puerto Rico). If you possess knowledge of store inventory control, that is a preferred qualification. For roles involving pharmacy duties, obtaining and maintaining valid PTCB certification or a pharmacy license as required by the state is mandatory.
