Carolina First EMS is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: 10+ years of dedicated ambulance / EMS medical billing experience; Expert knowledge of Medicare Ambulance Fee Schedule and ambulance-specific coding; Experience billing Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid managed care, and commercial payers; Experience submitting electronic claims through a clearinghouse; NAAC Certified Ambulance Coder (CAC) or equivalent credential preferred; and Hands-on experience with ImageTrend Billing Bridge preferred.
