About the Role
The Retail Associate is the face of Ross, responsible for ensuring every customer has a positive shopping experience. You will be the first point of contact, greeting customers with a smile and making eye contact to create a welcoming atmosphere. Your day will be a dynamic mix of customer service, operational support, and maintaining the store's "treasure hunt" appeal.
You will treat fellow associates with respect and courtesy, recognizing their contributions through company programs. Whether assisting customers with merchandise, answering questions, or resolving issues, you will represent the company brand with integrity and professionalism. You will also play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment, from sweeping and mopping to ensuring clear egress to emergency exits and proper merchandise presentation.
