The Retail Associate is the face of Ross, responsible for ensuring every customer has a positive shopping experience. You will be the first point of contact, greeting all customers with eye contact, a smile, and a friendly "hello," while treating fellow associates with respect.
In this role, you will be engaged in a variety of tasks throughout your working hours, adapting to the dynamic needs of the store. Your day will involve creating a safe and secure shopping environment by maintaining clear egress to emergency exits and promptly addressing any unsafe conditions. You will assist customers with merchandise, answer questions politely, and handle customer service issues with a courteous and helpful approach.
Beyond customer interaction, you will play a vital role in store operations. This includes maintaining a clean and organized work area through daily cleaning tasks, ensuring merchandise is presented neatly according to company standards, and expediting newly received items to the sales floor with urgency. As a representative of the company, you will demonstrate integrity in all interactions, safeguarding confidential information and merchandise while adhering to all safety and operational best practices.
