As a Registered Nurse, you will provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to adult patients across our medical-surgical and specialty units. This role exists to ensure optimal patient outcomes through a collaborative approach, where you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans alongside physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
Your day-to-day involves administering medications and treatments while monitoring patient responses, coordinating care, and advocating for patients. You will play a vital role in educating patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, discharge plans, and health promotion. Additionally, you will be expected to adhere strictly to hospital policies, infection prevention standards, and patient safety protocols, while contributing to quality improvement initiatives and unit-based projects. As an experienced nurse, you may also have the opportunity to precept and mentor new staff, helping to sustain our culture of excellence.
