About the Program
Parham Doctors' Hospital, part of HCA Virginia, is seeking compassionate new graduate nurses to join our Registered Nurse Residency in Healthcare & Medical Services. This structured transition-to-practice program is designed to bridge the gap between academic preparation and professional practice, combining classroom education, simulation, and precepted clinical shifts.
Residents will gain hands-on experience across diverse units, including orthopedic, spine, surgical weight loss, behavioral health, and rehabilitation. The program fosters a supportive, inclusive environment aligned with HCA Virginia's culture, where new nurses deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to build core acute care skills.

Requirements
