Who We Are

VANTAGE Aging is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering older adults—a group too often overlooked in today's world. We provide comprehensive programs that support every aspect of life, from nutritious meal and grocery assistance to volunteer opportunities, community engagement, and job training designed to help individuals succeed in today's workforce. Our culture is collaborative and rooted in community. At VANTAGE Aging, we believe our differences make us stronger, and we are committed to fostering a welcoming, compassionate environment where everyone can thrive.

About the Role

This position serves as a vital link within the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP), the nation's oldest program to help low-income, unemployed individuals aged 55+ receive job training and a path to employment. Administered by the US Department of Labor, VANTAGE Aging operates SCSEP across 34 counties in Indiana and 38 counties in Ohio.

In this role, you will lead daily office operations and manage administrative functions while directly supervising staff participants. You will foster a high-performing, positive office environment by selecting, training, and mentoring staff. Your day will involve a blend of strategic outreach and hands-on coaching: developing proactive plans to recruit diverse participants, securing non-profit host sites, and conducting job development activities to secure unsubsidized employment for program participants. You will also ensure all counseling sessions, Individual Employment Plans (IEPs), and placement efforts are accurately documented to maintain program compliance.

Please note that this role requires regular travel (2-3 days per week) within Hamilton and Clermont Counties to support community engagement and host agency development.
