The Venue Experiences team at the Pacific Science Center is dedicated to creating memorable, guest-centered environments that deepen relationships with our community. Working closely with the Advancement department, we ensure that every event—from intimate donor receptions to large-scale fundraisers—reflects the Center's mission and impact.
The Venue Experiences Supervisor (Advancement) serves as the operational heartbeat for our donor and member events. This position is uniquely split, focusing 75% on Advancement-specific programming and 25% on supporting the broader Venue Experiences team. You will be the point person for onsite execution, ensuring that events are seamless, safe, and aligned with our fundraising goals.
In this role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of event operations, from planning and logistics to setup, execution, and breakdown. You will act as the primary liaison between the Advancement team, external vendors, and internal partners like Marketing and Facilities. Your day-to-day involves managing budgets, coordinating staffing, handling guest escalations, and ensuring that every interaction with donors and members is exceptional. Whether leading a VIP preview or managing a 21+ fundraiser, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of guest experience and operational safety.
