The Catering & Event Sales Manager serves as the primary architect for growth within the 1218 Kitchen Group, responsible for developing and executing strategies to meet and exceed sales goals across Metro Atlanta, Georgia, and the broader Southeast region. This role is a strategic partnership with the production team, bridging the gap between client vision and culinary execution.
You will act as the face of the brand, representing the company's core values of Collaboration, Excellence, Adaptability, Sustainability, and Education (CEASE). The position demands a dynamic professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, actively prospecting new business through networking, cold calling, and community engagement while nurturing existing relationships to ensure high retention rates.
Your journey begins with strategic planning and relationship building. You will engage with industry influencers and key partners to maximize market exposure, ensuring that every inquiry is met with enthusiasm and timeliness. From the initial client conversation through menu development and negotiations, you will provide expert guidance to transform prospects into loyal clients.
The role extends beyond the office. You will lead in-house and off-site tastings, conduct site tours, and manage detailed event layouts. On event days, you will be on the ground, overseeing execution from setup through service, ensuring the customer experience aligns with the high standards of the 1218 Kitchen Group handbook. You will also manage outsourced vendors and resolve any logistical challenges that arise, maintaining a focus on detail and urgency throughout the process.
