This position serves as the primary bridge between our client's products and a diverse network of foodservice operators. The role is designed for a proactive and energetic individual who thrives on building lasting relationships while ensuring the highest level of professionalism and operator satisfaction.
You will be responsible for driving sales and marketing efforts through consistent engagement, strategic time management, and clear communication. A key part of your day involves maintaining a robust pipeline by inputting daily activities into our CRM, planning targeted outreach to top-priority customers, and ensuring all inquiries from operators are addressed promptly. Success in this role requires a balance of self-motivation and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
Your workday is dynamic, centered around direct interaction with the foodservice industry. You will spend significant time traveling throughout your assigned territory to visit operators, conducting sales calls, and following up on leads within strict timelines. Preparation is essential; you will arrive at every meeting professionally ready to discuss business plans and product offerings.
During the food trade show season, your schedule may expand to include industry events, which can involve overnight travel and extended periods of standing. In these moments, you may also assist with handling case goods up to 50 lbs. Outside of events, you will dedicate time to administrative tasks, ensuring all emails, voicemails, and CRM entries are updated daily to keep the team aligned.
Candidates selected for this role will be expected to demonstrate a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as daily motor vehicle travel is a core requirement of the position. The role demands a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of operators and industry events.
