We are seeking a Part Time Recruiter to support our oil and gas accounting and land recruiting efforts during a growth volume hiring period. This role serves as the frontline recruiter responsible for managing assigned searches and advancing candidates through the hiring process. You will engage directly with candidates and hiring managers to proactively search, screen, interview, and facilitate hiring decisions while operating within the recruiting structure led by the Vice President of Organizational Development.
This position is ideal for a recruiting professional with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of both people and process. You will partner closely with business leaders to assess and support organizational design, organizational development, and talent planning needs. We are looking for someone who understands the nuances of accounting and finance recruitment, especially within industries like oil & gas or energy services, and who can quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment.
You should be someone who embeds themselves with teams and acts as a strong consultative recruiter who holds the candidate's experience sacred. While we move fast and change is constant, your day-to-day will involve stakeholder management, candidate sourcing, full-cycle recruiting, and project-based work to help scale the talent function.
We have offices in San Antonio, Houston, Tulsa, Ft. Worth, and Dallas. We hope that you'll be interested in joining us to represent PetroLedger's culture and values throughout the candidate experience.
This is a hybrid, part-time position (25-30 hours per week with flexible hours, schedule to be determined upon hire). Part-time employees accrue PTO. The ideal candidate brings both a sales and recruiter's mindset for connecting people with purpose-driven work.

Avisto Capital Partners operates within the venture capital and private equity sector, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. The firm emerged from the strategic acquisition of Dallas-based Eddye Dreyer Financial Services and Tulsa-based The Resource Group, entities that have collectively served the industry for nearly three decades. These predecessor organizations specialized in providing professional back-office outsourcing solutions to oil and gas companies and individual investors.
Throughout its history, the combined entity has cultivated a strong market reputation for deploying skilled talent capable of delivering a comprehensive suite of services. The organization prioritizes operational efficiency, aiming to generate value for clients by processing data at a lower cost compared to maintaining full-time in-house teams. This approach has established a foundation of reliability and cost-effectiveness for its diverse clientele across the energy sector.
