The Human Resources Manager will serve as a strategic partner to Sales, Engineering, and Finance, leading HR operations for the Los Angeles site. Supporting over 200 employees across both professional and unionized roles, this position is designed to oversee core HR functions including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and development planning. The role exists to drive talent strategy through full-cycle recruitment, foster a compelling employment brand, and ensure a robust culture of continuous improvement and career development.
You will partner closely with managers to navigate complex employee relations issues, interpret policies fairly, and support disciplinary processes when necessary. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to coaching leaders in creating actionable, time-bound development plans and succession strategies. You will also manage the cadence of employee communication and engagement initiatives to monitor retention risks and maintain a positive workplace environment.
Data integrity and strategic insight will be central to your work. You will utilize advanced Excel tools to generate dashboards and reports that support workforce planning, while ensuring accurate administration of compensation reviews, benefits programs, and recognition initiatives within systems like Workday.
Candidates are expected to demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The selection process will focus on identifying individuals with a passion for talent development and the ability to coach managers effectively.
