About the Role
This position serves as a strategic partner within the HR Compensation function, responsible for the end-to-end administration of compensation programs, policies, and guidelines. The role exists to ensure that SWBC's pay strategies are compliant with federal and state regulations while remaining competitive in the marketplace. You will act as a key advisor to management, utilizing data analysis to drive decisions on salary planning, job classification, and incentive programs. The day-to-day involves collaborating with department leaders to refine job descriptions, conducting job evaluations, and maintaining data integrity within the Workday system. Key Responsibilities

- check_circleBenchmark jobs against survey data to determine competitive compensation ranges
- check_circleAnalyze market-based compensation survey data to provide equity reports and recommendations
- check_circleSupport the administration of incentive programs including merit, bonus, and equity
- check_circleOrganize annual compensation survey participation and track submission deadlines
- check_circleProvide professional compensation guidance to management for salary planning
- check_circleReview new positions to determine appropriate FLSA status and evaluate compliance
- check_circleEstablish equitable titles, salary ranges, pay rates, and exemption statuses
- check_circleConduct regular audits to maintain data integrity in the Workday system
- check_circleResearch and analyze compensation trends to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- verified1-2 years of experience in compensation programs
- verifiedKnowledge of Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and state/federal pay regulations
- verifiedFamiliarity with Workday HCM
- verifiedProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Pivot tables, V look-up)
- verifiedAbility to travel locally or nationally
