The Receptionist/Admin Assistant is the vital first point of contact for our community, serving as the primary liaison between residents, their families, guests, vendors, and staff. This role is more than administrative; it is about conveying a positive image of Summerfield and demonstrating a genuine, caring interest in the well-being of our elderly residents.\n In this position, you will work closely with the Executive Director and Assistant Executive Director to ensure operational performance and quality of service. Your day will involve greeting guests warmly, managing the community phone, and assisting with administrative tasks such as document preparation and newsletter production. You will also support the Activity Director and Marketing team, helping to foster a sense of community through events and correspondence.
Building meaningful friendships with residents is a core part of this role. By being cheerful, helpful, and professional, you help residents feel safe and valued. You will also play a key role in maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring a safe environment regarding infection control, fire safety, and resident rights.
