The principal duty of all employees is to assist in the mission of the Church in the Diocese of Fort Worth. This role is dedicated to managing the daily operation of the parish preschool program, fostering a warm, friendly environment grounded in a quality Catholic-based, child-centered curriculum.
As the Preschool Director, you will serve as the primary steward of the program's vision, ensuring that Catholic values are seamlessly integrated into every aspect of learning. You will oversee the administration of the preschool, summer camps, and the early elementary home school class. Your day will be defined by a balance of leadership and presence: leading teachers through professional development and classroom observations, while maintaining an active, daily presence with children, parents, and staff.
You will act as the main point of contact for families, guiding them through registration, tuition processes, and community resource referrals. Beyond the classroom, you will manage the program's financial health, facility maintenance, and compliance with Diocesan guidelines, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all. This position requires a deep commitment to faith formation, collaboration with the Pastor, and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the Diocese.
Candidates are expected to demonstrate a strong history of good judgment, empathy, and a genuine love for children. The selection process involves reviewing qualifications against the Diocesan guidelines, followed by interviews to assess cultural fit and professional aptitude.
We are a faith-based organization committed to serving our community. While a practicing Catholic background is preferred, we welcome applicants who share our mission. We value diversity and seek individuals who can work effectively with a wide variety of audiences, including clergy, religious, laity, and families from diverse backgrounds. All staff are expected to maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of integrity.
