To qualify for the Patient Care Assistant II (PCA) - Central Support at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego position, applicants should have: High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent; BLS for Healthcare Providers issued by the American Heart Association; Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program OR Certified Medical Assistant program OR Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program OR enrolled in a Registered Nurse program with at least one clinical acute hospital rotation; and Knowledge of medical terminology.
