About the Role
As a Shop Manager, you will showcase your leadership skills within our growing team. This role is designed for people persons who are driven and ready to lead. While experience is valued, it is not required; we hire experienced managers from various backgrounds including oil change shops, restaurants, and retail, but we also welcome those with no prior experience to join as an Assistant Manager or Manager-in-Training.
You will be accountable for your team's execution of Take 5 standards within less than 60 days. Our most successful employees include those who joined with no experience as well as former servers, restaurant workers, mechanics, retail employees, and skilled trade workers. You will manage the daily operations of the shop, including recruiting, interviewing, and training new crew members, creating schedules, and handling payroll. You will also oversee inventory control, place product orders, and understand the shop's financials to drive results. While you will support crew members with duties like changing oil and performing light maintenance, your primary focus is leading the team to provide excellent customer service.

We offer paid training on the Take 5 way to manage a shop location, change oil, replace wiper blades and air filters, fill air in tires, and perform other light maintenance services. No matter your background, we provide the tools you need to succeed.
