About the Role
Lap of Love seeks a compassionate Mobile Veterinarian to provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services for pets. This unique role blends strong clinical skills with exceptional empathy and communication, supporting families through difficult decisions. As part of our collaborative veterinary health team, you'll practice high-quality, home-based care with ample emotional support and resources, improving quality of life for pets and their families during their final moments.
In this position, you will perform physical exams, pain assessments, and end-of-life consultations while ensuring peaceful, dignified farewells. You will serve as a vital link between medical expertise and emotional support, communicating options and findings clearly to pet families and offering grief support resources and follow-up guidance. The role requires driving to client homes to deliver timely, professional mobile service, maintaining accurate medical records, and coordinating care with internal support and veterinary team members.
