Lap of Love is dedicated to improving the final days of pets' lives through compassion, empathy, and high-quality end-of-life care. We are a mission-driven team committed to providing a peaceful, dignified experience for animals and their families during their most difficult moments.
As a Mobile Veterinarian, you will serve as a compassionate guide for families navigating the end of their pet's life. This role goes beyond clinical duties; it is about offering emotional support, clear guidance, and dignity during the decision-making process. You will travel locally to client homes to provide in-home hospice, palliative care, and euthanasia services, ensuring that every interaction is handled with the utmost respect and care.
You will partner closely with a supportive virtual team of veterinarians and care coordinators, managing your own schedule while adhering to Lap of Love's high clinical standards. Your day will involve conducting thorough physical exams, performing quality-of-life assessments, and developing individualized comfort-focused treatment plans. Beyond the medical aspects, you will be the voice of reassurance for families, communicating clearly about prognosis and options while ensuring safe handling and respectful aftercare arrangements.
Interested candidates should submit their application including their resume and cover letter. Selected applicants will be contacted for an initial screening to discuss experience and fit with our mission, followed by a deeper conversation regarding clinical expertise and approach to end-of-life care.
Lap of Love is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and the families we serve.
