About the Role
Lap of Love seeks a compassionate Mobile Veterinarian to provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services for pets. This role is dedicated to honoring the human–animal bond by delivering peaceful, dignified farewells in the comfort of a home setting. You will blend strong clinical skills with exceptional communication, guiding families through difficult decisions with empathy and clarity.
In this position, you will perform quality-of-life assessments, design palliative care plans, and conduct thorough physical exams. Your day will involve educating and guiding families through end-of-life options, performing compassionate in-home euthanasia following medical standards, and managing a mobile schedule. You will collaborate with a supportive, mission-driven team to ensure safe handling, transport coordination, and aftercare for pet remains, while maintaining detailed medical records and participating in ongoing training to uphold best practices.
