Lap of Love is dedicated to providing compassionate, in-home hospice and euthanasia services for pets. Our mission is rooted in compassion, dignity, and exceptional end-of-life care, ensuring that every companion animal and their family receives a peaceful transition.
As a Mobile Veterinarian, you will travel to families' homes to provide critical care during their most difficult moments. This role is designed for a clinician who combines deep empathy with clinical expertise to guide families through difficult decisions, explain quality-of-life considerations, and offer grief support resources.
You will work independently in the field while remaining part of a supportive team that shares our core values. Your day will involve conducting gentle assessments, creating comfort-focused care plans, and performing peaceful, dignified euthanasia when appropriate. Beyond clinical duties, you will serve as a source of comfort, educating families on end-of-life options and aftercare while maintaining the highest standards of safety and ethics.
Candidates selected for an interview will engage in a process designed to assess both clinical competence and cultural fit. This includes a review of your veterinary background, a discussion of your experience with palliative care and in-home protocols, and a conversation about your approach to client communication and grief support.
Lap of Love is an equal opportunity employer. We value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and clients.
