Lap of Love is dedicated to providing compassionate end-of-life care for pets in the comfort of their own homes. We believe that every animal deserves a peaceful, dignified farewell, and every family deserves support during life's most difficult moments. Our mission is to alleviate the stress of veterinary care by bringing high-quality hospice, palliative, and euthanasia services directly to the client's doorstep.
As a Mobile Veterinarian, you will be the heart of our in-home care team. This role exists to bridge the gap between clinical excellence and deep emotional support, guiding families through the complex journey of their pet's final days. You will conduct quality-of-life assessments, manage pain and symptoms, and perform compassionate euthanasia procedures following strict medical and ethical guidelines.
Your day will involve traveling safely between appointments to provide personalized care plans for dogs and cats. Beyond clinical duties, you will serve as a counselor, helping families navigate disease progression and end-of-life decisions with empathy and clarity. You will work within a collaborative team that values emotional intelligence, ensuring that every interaction upholds our standards of dignity and care.
Interested candidates should submit their resume and cover letter detailing their experience with hospice and palliative care. The selection process includes a review of credentials, followed by an interview to discuss clinical philosophy and fit with our mission. Successful candidates will undergo a background check and verification of all required licenses and insurance eligibility.
Lap of Love is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and the communities we serve. We consider qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status.
