Lap of Love is seeking a compassionate Mobile Veterinarian to provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services for pets. In this role, you will travel to families' homes to perform gentle assessments, manage pain and comfort care, and guide families through dignified, peaceful goodbyes. This position offers meaningful, relationship-focused work, emphasizing empathy, respect, and exceptional end-of-life support for both pets and their families.
You will collaborate with a supportive team to maintain detailed medical records and uphold the highest standards of veterinary and emotional care. Your day will involve conducting thorough patient assessments, developing individualized end-of-life care plans, and administering medications and humane euthanasia according to strict protocols. Beyond clinical duties, you will offer emotional support and guidance to pet families before, during, and after visits, ensuring a compassionate experience for everyone involved.
