About the Role
As a Merchandiser for PepsiCo in the PBNA region, you will serve as the face of our brand within large-volume grocery and retail locations across North Olmsted, Strongsville, Avon, Elyria, and Sandusky. This role is designed to ensure our products are visible, accessible, and fresh for customers. You will work independently to manage assigned accounts, maintaining high standards of product presentation while building strong relationships with store personnel and customers.
The position involves a dynamic, on-the-go day where you will stock shelves, rotate inventory in coolers and storage rooms, and set up promotional displays. You will utilize equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks to move cases weighing 20-45 pounds, ensuring the sales floor is always ready for shoppers. This is a self-managed role requiring reliability and the ability to follow a consistent schedule while adapting to the specific needs of each store location.
Hiring Process & Requirements
To apply, candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid U.S. Driver's License with proof of insurance. A personal vehicle is required to access multi-store locations within your assigned shift. Mileage reimbursement is provided for positions requiring the use of a personal vehicle for a sales route.
The selection process includes a review of your background, which may involve a conditional offer contingent upon a successful pre-employment background check and drug screening. Due to the nature of the field work and interaction with the public, the company conducts criminal history reviews in accordance with applicable laws, including the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance and the California Fair Chance Act.
