Under the supervision of a licensed practitioner, the Medical Assistant serves as a vital support pillar for clinic patient care, delivering non-invasive routine technical services related to therapeutic and diagnostic functions. The supervising practitioner must be physically present in the facility during these services. Beyond clinical duties, the role encompasses a variety of administrative, assistive, and supportive outreach activities. It is important to note that the Medical Assistant does not evaluate or synthesize data.

For the Medical Assistant II – Floater position, candidates must also maintain current CPR certification and demonstrate the ability to work a varied and flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of NEVHC and its patients. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required for this specific role, along with the completion of the mandatory Medical Interpretation course.
