About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a Health Care Assistant at our Capitol Drive Family Planning Health Center. As a valuable member of our team, you will assist patients seeking sexual and reproductive health care by interviewing, screening, educating, and preparing them for their appointments.
You will be a vital part of a health care team, providing both medical and administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the clinic. Your day will involve facilitating clinic flow, ensuring the availability of patient care supplies, performing laboratory and screening procedures, and participating in the implementation of patient care plans. Additionally, you will handle front desk duties, greeting patients, managing appointments, and verifying insurance.
We provide paid training to help you learn how to deliver clinical care and complete medical administrative tasks effectively. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and is eager to support our mission of accessible reproductive health care.
