As an Assistant Meat Team Leader, you will partner with the Meat Manager to provide leadership within the Meat Department. Your mission is to direct and manage Team Members, oversee the ordering of raw materials, and implement merchandising initiatives that stimulate business growth while meeting customer needs and maximizing profits. You will be the face of the department, ensuring customers receive a variety of cuts and that sales cases are perfectly stocked. This role is about more than just operations; it is about fostering a culture of continuous development, sharing food knowledge, and demonstrating a commitment to unparalleled customer service in every interaction.

The hiring range for this position is $22.50– $22.50 per hour/year. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and location. Prior management experience in Meat operations or related field; Customer Service Experience; Knowledge of Market District meat operational procedures; Ability to read and interpret Profit and Loss statement
Skills: Meat Cutting Certification, Haccp, Osha.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
