Impact Dojo is a young, innovative company revolutionizing the way martial arts is taught to children and adults. Founded in 2015 in the Chicagoland area, we have experienced tremendous growth and are looking for the right people to join our team.
We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and professional black belt instructor who believes deeply in our mission. This role is designed for a martial artist with considerable skill in an art form compatible with karate, who is passionate about teaching and building positive relationships with students of all ages.
As a Martial Arts Instructor, you will serve as a positive role model, providing a safe and fun learning environment for students between the ages of 4 and 18. You will implement our company curriculum, offer constructive criticism, and ensure the safety and well-being of everyone in the dojo. Success in this position requires outstanding communication skills, allowing you to interact clearly and professionally with students, their families, peers, and the leadership team.
To ensure the safety of our community, all candidates must pass child abuse clearance and criminal background checks. While we prefer candidates with a teaching certification and a bachelor's degree, these are not mandatory. We are looking for individuals with a minimum of two years of experience working with children and 1–5 years of martial arts teaching experience.
We value patience, care, and creativity. We are committed to the growth and development of youth and seek team players who are flexible, adaptive, and eager to make a difference in the life of a child. Join us to exhibit our core values, adhere to our Code of Conduct, and have fun while shaping the next generation.
