Impact Dojo is a young, innovative company revolutionizing the way martial arts is taught to children and adults. Founded in 2015 in the Chicagoland area, the organization has experienced tremendous growth and is dedicated to building positive relationships while ensuring the safety and well-being of people of all ages.
We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and professional black belt instructor who deeply believes in our mission. This role exists to provide a safe, fun, and inclusive learning environment where students between the ages of 4 and 18 can develop martial arts skills and character.
As a key member of our team, you will serve as a positive role model, implementing our company curriculum and demonstrating outstanding communication skills with students, their families, and the broader community. The ideal candidate is a martial artist with considerable skill in a discipline compatible with karate, passionate about teaching, and capable of providing constructive criticism while fostering a team-oriented atmosphere.
To ensure the safety and integrity of our students, all candidates must successfully pass child abuse clearance and criminal background checks. While teaching certification and a Bachelor's degree are preferred, they are not strictly required for this position.
We value patience, care, and creativity. We are looking for individuals who are flexible, adaptive, and committed to making a difference in the life of a child. At Impact Dojo, we expect everyone to exhibit our Core Values, adhere to our Code of Conduct, and maintain our professional standards at all times.
