The Manager in Training (MIT) position is a transitional role designed to prepare you for promotion into a Retail Store Management position. Under the Store Manager's guidance, you will lead by example, demonstrating initiative and strong leadership while executing store operations with excellence. This role is built on a foundation of leadership training, customer service excellence, and operational expertise.
You will receive hands-on assignments and structured learning opportunities to master the AutoZone culture. Within 8-12 weeks, you could progress into management, depending on your prior experience and performance. MITs must demonstrate consistent progression throughout the training program to be considered for management openings. Please note that promotion is performance-based and subject to management availability.
