About the Role
As a Supervisor, you will lead the maintenance team in keeping our hotel facility and equipment in peak condition. This role is critical to ensuring a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. You will oversee all aspects of preventative, planned, and unplanned maintenance across the building, including plumbing, electrical systems, pool operations, grounds, and landscaping.
Beyond technical oversight, this position serves as a bridge between operations and guest experience. You will be expected to greet guests and provide outstanding service during their stay, resolving complaints professionally and ensuring their needs are met with care and efficiency.
Day in the Life
Your day will involve a dynamic mix of strategic planning and hands-on problem-solving. You will walk the property daily to identify repair needs, prioritizing tasks between preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance. You will manage work orders to ensure rooms remain in service, coordinate with other departments to keep room statuses up-to-date, and monitor energy conservation efforts.
Safety is a top priority; you will inspect fire suppression systems, enforce OSHA and state guidelines for chemical and fire safety, and maintain strict key control. Additionally, you will manage inventory levels, ensure storage areas are organized, and assist in training new staff to uphold our standards of excellence.
