Springhill Suites Charlotte Southwest is dedicated to the MCR standard of providing clean, friendly, well-organized, and safe hotels for our guests. Our mission centers on three areas of excellence: ensuring happy guests through spotless cleanliness, maintaining product consistency and quality, and fostering a culture of teamwork.
As an Engineer at our property, you are the guardian of our facility's physical integrity and safety. This role exists to ensure that every guest interaction is seamless by maintaining a pristine environment and responding swiftly to repair needs. You will be the first point of contact for guest repair requests, documenting and resolving issues through our electronic work order platform.
Your day involves a blend of proactive maintenance and responsive service. You will conduct full property walks at the start and end of every shift to identify maintenance needs, ensuring all preventative maintenance tasks are completed on schedule. Beyond technical repairs, you play a vital role in our hospitality culture; you are expected to greet every guest with a smile and their name whenever possible, even while performing maintenance duties. You will also ensure that all safety measures and health codes, particularly for pool and spa areas, are strictly followed.
We look for candidates with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. While technical or vocational training is preferred, our focus is on your ability to follow guidelines, handle high-pressure situations, and communicate effectively with both guests and team members. If you are ready to contribute to a welcoming environment and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, we invite you to apply.
We are an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background and are dedicated to providing reasonable accommodations to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions of their job.
